The Godfather
After watching American Gangster, I read a bunch of reviews basically saying this: It’s good, but not on the level of classic crime movies. Since I really really liked American Gangster, I was thinking this was just a bunch of … Continue reading

Came back to Oak Harbor today for Jonard’s daughter’s Christening. Went to the Knights of Columbus hall. Junior was telling Jayme about the hall and I realized that I’ve sort of forgotten how many memories we all have there. We … Continue reading

Stranger Than Fiction
Pretty good. I started to get a little tired of Will Ferrell after his appearance in Wedding Crashers, but he nails the role of Harold in Stranger Than Fiction. I also really like Dustin Hoffman’s character. I appreciated all the … Continue reading

Black and white pictures of Seattle at night
I hope you enjoyed my miniature poem. I feel like these two pictures worked best in black and white. I could say something like it brings out the texture of the concrete but it’s mostly because the fluorescent lights in the foreground blow out the pictures and it’s even worse when you can see that the lights are orange. I have three more in color, so um stay tuned!

Philippines Two
There’s a dog camouflaged in the first picture. Heartbreaker. These are all still taken from the trip up Baguio. The last two are at the Lion’s Head, which is up the mountain and sort of signals the entrance to Baguio.

Philippines One
I shot 999 and I’m hoping to post 100, ten at a time. A lot are going to be from the trip to Baguio, shot out the window of a van. Here’s a little bit of jeepney wikipedia:
Jeepneys are a popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are well known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating. They have also become a symbol of Philippine culture.

San Diego August: Three
The interstate 15 scenery from San Diego to Las Vegas is non-existent. Good bonding time though. Just never do that drive alone. Right at the start of the trip we switched to AM to hear the traffic and we heard, “Car fire on I-15. All lanes closed.” In the second to the last picture, Jason is doing what all safe drivers do–applying eye drops. Slightly worse than texting on the danger-scale. But ladies, we’re dangerous guys.
